SACGRA History
The founding directors served from 2013 to 2015 and had a task to ensure that the organizational mission was intact and robust for implementation. The founders included: Mandla Maseko, Simangele Tshabalala, Enock Mabaso, Buyisiwe Khoza, Truth Mkhize, and Thamsanqa Maqubela.
The first offices of the council were in Oak Street in Randburg and were later moved in January 2016 to Alberton. In 2017, the council relocated to its current offices in Midrand on 14th Road.
In 2017, the second generation of board members were elected, including David Nhlapo, Nomzamo Kunene, Mark Cunningham, Nokuthula Nsutsha, Simpiwe Vulindlu, and Thamsanqa Maqubela.
Since its establishment, the council is humbled by the support it has received from the following partners and/or clients:
2013 – SAGDA as an establishing associate to close the gap of youth unemployment and poor entrepreneurship and failing coops in SA.
2014 – Department of Human Settlements, Department of Public Works, Estate Agency Affairs Board.
2015 – ETDP SETA, LGSETA, EWSETA, Nkangala TVET College.
2016 – FP&M SETA, Larimar Group, Ndlambe Municipality, Vuselela TVET College, Eskom, BizBuild.
